Melton Mobray Rural North: crime update

Here is a crime update for the rural areas of Melton Mowbray as at the 5th June, issued by Hugh Crouch, Community Initiatives Co-ordinator at Melton Police HQ.

There have been a number of incidents involving items being removed from motor vehicles recently in Muston and Asfordby. Please ensure you keep your property secure and, if you have power tools, please property mark them in an overt style.

Asfordby: vehicle and property damage

There have been a number of reports of vehicles and property being damaged in the Asfordby area. Anyone with information is asked to call Leicestershire Constabulary on 0116 222 22 22.

There has also been an increase in the number of vehicle break-ins across the area with property stolen. Please ensure that items are not left on display.

Asfordby: damage to parish hall

The Asfordby parish hall has suffered some damage to the rear door. This happened between the 28th Sept and the 1st Oct.
