On Wednesday night – at around 20.30 – intruders were disturbed at the Post Office, in Knipton. The intruders had broken into the PO by forcing a rear window with a crow bar. Fortunately the intruders left in a hurry and nothing is reported to have been stolen, though they had made an untidy search. The culprits drove off at high speed in a silver or light-grey hatch back.
