Thefts of garden furniture and lead

This advice comes from Hugh Crouch at Leicestershire Constabulary:

There has been an increase in thefts relating to garden furniture – mainly in the Old Dalby area but with a number now growing incidents across the Vale of Belvoir. Please ensure that you mark this property and keep it secure.

Church Crime
The prices of metal have increased recently and therefore please keep an eye of the lead on your roof areas, as the Church at Eastwell has been recently targeted.

Heating Oil: We have had a number of incident involving the theft of heating oil recently and the most recent incidents have occurred in Waltham on the Wolds, Eastwell and the an Industrial Unit on the out skirts of Melton Mowbray.
